Sorel Point was the setting for the Jersey Motorcycle & Light Car Club’s final motocross event of 2026, held over Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September. The two-day event was packed with impressive comebacks and some brilliant performances as riders battled it out across the weekend.
In the Expert class, it was Dale Campbell who took the top spot. After years away from riding, Dale made his return and wasted no time reminding everyone what he could do, claiming first place in the class.

Taking second place was Bradley Le Feuvre, who was making his own comeback after breaking his arm last year. This was Bradley’s first event back, where he took a second place finish. He also took home the Holeshot Trophy after getting the jump off the line.
Steve Leonard rounded out the Expert podium in third, while also somehow finding time to run around after his children.
The Keen Bean Award, recognising someone who has shown real effort and grit throughout the event, went to Simon Le Maistre. Simon put in plenty of work behind the scenes helping with the track, while also supporting his son. Despite all that, he still found the time to jump on a bike himself for the first time at Sorel, a well-deserved award for someone who puts in the effort both on and off the track.
The Matthew Wing Award for Best 50cc Petrol went to Ford Lloyd, who, at just four years old, was taking part in his very first event, a fantastic achievement for such a young rider.
The Chris Massey Award for Best 125 was claimed by Marley Raimondo. Only four months ago, Marley didn't even know what a clutch was. Fast-forward to this weekend and he came out fighting, absolutely smashing it and taking first place in the Novice class on his 125.

From riders returning after injury and years away, to newcomers finding their feet, the weekend was a celebration of everything that makes motocross what it is - hard work, determination, community and a whole lot of grit.
