Now the dust has settled on a busy bank holiday weekend, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in the Morris Marine & Motors ltd Charity Autosolo 2026!
To all our officials, we honestly couldn’t run the event without you! Special shout out to Mike Fleming and Michael Milner for keeping our timing system going despite the difficult conditions!
To our competitors, you are amazing!! I think we experienced all 4 seasons throughout the day, including a torrential thunder storm! But it didn’t dampen spirits or fancy dress costumes too much!!

Most importantly, this is a charity event. This year the chosen charity was Jersey Hospice. We raised £807, which is fantastic!!
Finally, a huge thank you to Darryl Morris at Morris Marine and Motors for sponsoring our event and to Ronez for allowing us to use their block yard.
