COMPETITION RULES FOR 2006

  1. Applicants must compete in two 5 mile road sprint events
  2. Applicants must compete in two Bouley Bay Hill Climb events, national not included.
  3. All declarations to join trophy must be received with full payment before the first sprint.
  4. Sponsors logo sticker, must be clearly displayed on each side of the competitors bike during every event.
    Competitors are given two stickers at the beginning of the season, if they require more they are to be purchased by the competitor from the supplier at a cost of £2.50 for one sticker.
  5. Competitors must use the same machine for both hill climbs and sprints
  6. There is only one open class.  All makes types and capacity of machine competing together.
  7. No double entries are permitted, although shared entries will be allowed.
  8. The lowest recorded time of an official run during a hill climb or sprint is logged  After completing the minimum of two hill climbs and two sprints, the competitors lowest times for any two of each events are added together.  The competitor with the lowest overall time is declared the winner.  Should a competitor compete in more than two hill climbs or sprints, this allows them to have a wider choice of the four required times needed.
  9. Main prizes are only on offer for the overall first, second and third.  Extra prizes may be raised by outside sponsorship.
  10. In the outcome of more events being cancelled than the required two hill climbs and two sprints, then the competition will be run over three events, results will not be taken from more than two of any year.
  11. In the event of a tie, it will be decided on a count back basis, starting on the second fastest times over the four applicable events.
