Valla Ltd Sprint

Four records were broken at the final Valla Ltd Speed event of the year, which took place at the Five Mile Road on Saturday.

Michael Balston once again broke his own record in Road Going Series Production Class Unlimited by recording a time of 11.92 seconds on his first run of the day.  Another competitor to break a record on his first run was Phil Rogers in the Supermoto 201cc to 250c class.

The last two records fell to existing record holders.  Chris Fox lowering his record in the Scooter class to 16.38 seconds and Adam Vibert in the supermoto 86c to 125cc class in a time of 13.77 seconds.

Father and son, Michael and Andrew Fleming respectively, had their own personal battle in the Road going Production class 1401cc to 2000cc with Fleming Junior getting the better of his father by just 0.09 second.  Fleming Senior excuse was he shifted from 3^rd to 5^th gear in the final run of the day which cost him overall victory!!
